Student-Athlete Orientation

Aug. 18, 2010

New Student-Athlete Orientation will be held on Sunday, August 22nd  at the Moore Athletic Center. New Student-Athlete Orientation provides incoming students with valuable information about life and programs available to them at FSU.

The program will also introduce them to their fellow student-athletes, whom they will be with for the next four plus years. As a part of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) members will serve as peer educators in the areas of planning, implementing, and helping acclimate their teammates into college athletics.

Orientation will begin with breakfast in the Varsity Club along with a signature scavenger hunt. After introductions from the athletic administration and the SAAC members, the new student-athletes will divide into their five groups then travel to different stations to discuss and learn information about Student Life, Academics, Sports Medicine and Nutrition, Technology and Computer Lab, and Compliance.
