Head Coach Bobby Bowden

On practicing on Sunday

“I don’t like to practice on Sunday; we try to dodge that as much as we can. But we either had to practice on Friday or Sunday, and I felt like they needed a day off somewhere in there. It was a pretty good practice. They really picked it up yesterday, and they were ok today.”

Offensive Lineman Mario Henderson

On the state of the ACC

“The ACC has gotten a lot tougher; they’ve gotten new kids in from everywhere and gotten better year in and year out. I mean the competition and players have gotten a lot tougher. It’s not like we can go out and win outright, we have to work a lot more.”
