TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The Florida State track and field team will travel to Atlanta, Ga. this weekend to compete at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the final regular season meet of the season. This will be the last chance for the Seminoles to add to their list of regional qualifiers (37) in 2003.
The meet gets underway on Friday evening at 7:00 pm with the javelin, long jump, shot put and women’s pole vault competitions. The meet will wrap-up that evening with the men’s 5000m run. On Saturday, the meet jump-starts with the field events featuring the men’s hammer throw at 11:00 am. The running events will start at 5:00 pm on day two of competition with the trials of the men’s 110m hurdles. The meet will come to a close on Saturday evening with the running of 4x400m relay scheduled to start at 9:30 pm.
