Two Records Fall In Prelims

ATLANTA, Ga. – Charlotee Broadbent and Tori Richmond broke school records and six Seminoles earned top 16 finishes in preliminary action at the 2011 ACC Swimming and Diving Championships.

Broadbent is seed sixth in the 500 free with a school record breaking time of 4:44.07. Richmond broke an eight year old record in the 200 individual medley and will be seeded second tonight with a time of 1:59.16. The junior will be joined by Jessica Sabotin in the final heat as she is seeded eighth (2:01.15). Junior Stephanie Sarandos is seeded 12th (2:01.92) and sophomore Kristine Polley is 16th (2:02.75). In the final event of the morning freshman Tiffany Oliver earned the seventh position (22.79).
