Florida State University and ULM have moved the kickoff time of their football game in Tallahassee this Saturday to 12:00 p.m. EST due to Hurricane Irma.
All parking lots, including those open to the general public and those assigned to Seminole Boosters, will open at 7:00 a.m. Doak Campbell Stadium gates will open at their normal time which is two hours prior to kickoff.
“We have moved the game time after consulting with a number of state agencies and based on the information we have on the potential impact on the state,” said FSU President John Thrasher. “The earlier start will give ULM the opportunity to travel safely after the game, and provide many of our fans a chance to come to the game and return home in time to make any necessary preparations.”
The University continues to actively monitor the progress of Hurricane Irma. No classes have been canceled at this time and a website www.alerts.fsu.edu is in place to provide information to the entire FSU family.
The game is being televised by Raycom Sports via a nationwide, syndicated network of more than 100 over-the-air stations — branded the ACC Network. Raycom Sports will work through the remainder of the week to maximize clearances for stations throughout the country at the new kickoff time. Fans should monitor seminoles.com, theacc.com and/or the following LINK for updates on stations carrying the FSU vs. ULM game.
