Most Memorable experience:

“My most memorable tennis-moment from FSU was when we defeated (read crushed) Miami my senior year. Getting revenge against Iowa, who we had lost to in the NCAA tournament the year before, by clinching the doubles together with Marina Raic, also ranks highly in my book.”

Buffy Baker
– Buffy is entering her fifth season as head coach at Penn State University, having already guided the Nittany Lions to its best ever Big Ten regular season showing and its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

My most memorable tennis-moment from FSU was when we defeated (read crushed) Miami my senior year.

Former student-athletes Nanette Duxin and Natalie Carratala

Most memorable experience:
“I do not have a specific event that stands out as my most memorable experience at FSU. I would have to say that the fondest memories I have come from the road trips and time with my team mates. Tennis is an individual sport however at the college level everyone has to come together as a team in order to be successful. Individual wins were exciting however they became very meaningless unless the team as a whole won at the end of the day.”

Marina Raic
– Marina completed her MBA in Miamiand worked for the NASDAQ-100 Open before heading to Europe to work with Fischer Tennis in Austria. She is responsible for International Sales Promotion and Public Relations.
