TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State indoor volleyball team battles 20th-ranked Miami in a matchup that will be televised live on ESPNU at Tully Gym on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. The team needs YOUR support to make Tully Gym as loud as possible.
FSU and Miami have been competing on the volleyball courts since 1978. However, you may be hard-pressed to find a match in their 33-year history that comes with as much hype and hoopla as Wednesday’s nationally televised contest.
Fans are encouraged to wear their “Poole and the Gang” shirts and will be able to pick up garnet and gold shakers to wave around and create a fun-filled atmosphere that is appealing to both the players and for a televised audience. And you never know if the camera might find you as you show off your support to all your family and friends back home.
With the FSU indoor volleyball program in the midst of one of its best periods in school history, it is important for all loyal Seminole followers to get to Tully Gym and proudly support the Garnet and Gold! A boisterous fan base behind the team on Wednesday night not only will motivate each student-athlete, but it could be the difference in helping the Seminoles defeat one of their biggest rivals.
