TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – The Florida State women’s basketball team will celebrate its 2013-14 season with its end-of-the-year banquet on Monday, April 21, at the FSU Basketball Training Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the annual celebration.
For just a small admission fee, FSU Women’s Basketball fans can join the student-athletes and coaches on the second-floor practice court and enjoy delicious catered food, behind-the-scenes videos, award presentations, senior commemorations and much more. Gaining access to the banquet will give attendees a glimpse of what life is like inside one of the Atlantic Coast Conference’s most successful programs.
The cost for attendees is $15 per adult and $8 for kids 12 and under. Those interested in attending also have the option to reserve a VIP table for a maximum of eight guests and/or sponsor a student-athlete’s meal.
The Florida State women’s basketball team completed another fulfilling season, reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament and making its ninth NCAA postseason in the last 10 seasons. The Seminoles attained their eighth 20-win season under the leadership of head coach Sue Semrau, finishing 21-12 overall.

Part of the banquet’s festivities will include the senior salute to two standout performers in forward Natasha Howard and guard Cheetah Delgado. Howard leaves FSU as the program’s 14th All-American after earning Associated Press honors following the season. Delgado etches her name in the FSU record books as the single-season leader in assists with 216 this past season.
