TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (Seminoles.com) – The annual end-of-year celebration is back as the Florida State Women’s Basketball program has announced its season-ending banquet for Saturday, April 7, at 6 p.m. at the FSU Basketball Training Center.
Doors will open beginning at 5 p.m., and interested attendees are asked to park in the main civic center lot adjacent to the basketball training center. Those interested in attending can RSVP by email Lgoddard@fsu.edu by Tuesday, April 3.
The end-of-year banquet is a chance to celebrate the success of the 2017-18 Florida State Women’s Basketball program. The Seminoles finished with a 26-7 overall record, clinched their fourth consecutive double-bye in the ACC Tournament, made their 13th NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 14 seasons and set a program record with 229 made 3-point field goals.
Attendees will have an opportunity to reserve a VIP table next to the team with a maximum of eight guests. The experience allows for a chance to get to know FSU’s student-athletes and coaches even better.
Adults are $30 per person, while kids are $12 each. The event promises to offer delicious food as well as an all-access look at the 2017-18 season not seen by the general public. Florida State’s five seniors in AJ Alix, Imani Wright, Shakayla Thomas, Chatrice White and Ama Degbeon will also be honored for their outstanding careers and for becoming the winningest senior class in program history.
