Snacks will be provided to the attending public, and as usual, student-athletes and coaches will be interacting with fans.
The Seminoles are expected to be selected to their 14th NCAA Tournament in the last 15 seasons. The latest ESPNW Bracketology has Florida State pegged as a No. 6 seed, with first and second-round games to be hosted by No. 3 seed Maryland in College Park, Md. The prediction also includes FSU facing No. 11 seed Tennessee in the first round.
The NCAA Women’s Basketball First and Second Round games will occur either on Friday, March 22, and Sunday, March 24, or will correspond with Saturday, March 23, and Monday, March 25.
Florida State’s 2018-19 season has been recognized by many for exceeding expectations. FSU is the only team in the current AP Top 25 Poll who had to replace its entire starting five from a season ago, and it was predicted to finish seventh and eighth in the ACC, its lowest predicted order of finish in 15 years.
The Seminoles wound up going 23-8 overall and 10-6 in the ACC, earning a No. 6 seed in the conference tournament where they defeated Duke in the quarterfinals.
More information on Florida State’s NCAA Tournament selection will be provided on Monday evening.
