A few home matchups are headlined by Top 25 opponents based on the Lindy’s preseason rankings: On Sunday, Dec. 10, No. 23 Arizona State visits Tallahassee for a 2 p.m. tip-off. On Sunday, Jan. 28, sixth-ranked Notre Dame comes to town for a 4 p.m. affair.
League rivals Miami and North Carolina also pay a visit to the Donald L. Tucker Center this season. Florida State was picked fourth in the ACC’s annual preseason predicted order of finish. The Seminoles return two starters in preseason All-ACC First Teamer Shakayla Thomas and sharp-shooting redshirt senior guard Imani Wright.
ACC Sixth Player of the Year Chatrice White is also back for her senior season at center, as well as senior center Ama Degbeon, sophomore guards Nicki Ekhomu and Nausia Woolfolk and redshirt freshman forward Iho Lopez.
One of the top newcomers in the ACC is redshirt senior point guard AJ Alix, a two-time All-Big 12 performer from TCU. Freshman guard Savannah Wilkinson is another strong presence who could help the Seminoles in her first season.
FSU unofficially begins its season with a home exhibition on Sunday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. – an event that is free to attend. The season tips off on Friday, Nov. 10, against UNF at 7 p.m. at the Tucker Center.
A 14-game promotions announcement will be announced later this week, a slate that offers several worthwhile incentives in attending each game for the upcoming season.
