TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –The Florida State women’s tennis team kicks off their season this Friday against Utah in Honolulu, Hawai’i at 3 p.m. ET. The Noles will follow that up with a tournament that includes both Utah and Hawai’i on Saturday and Sunday.
The Seminoles are 1-0 all-time against the Utes, playing them only in the 2000 season.
The Garnet and Gold look to build off an impressive fall season that saw them earn a .603 singles winning percentage and a .700 doubles winning percentage. Sophomore Carla Touly looks to make her long-awaited appearance on the court for the first time as a Seminole. The rest of the Noles look to pick up where they left off in the fall.
The Seminoles are on the road throughout January with a match at Illinois and the ITA kickoff weekend hosted at Vanderbilt. Florida State begins their home schedule on February 10th with a doubleheader against FAMU and Mercer.
