Men’s Golf in 11th at Georgia

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (Seminoles.com) – The Florida State Men’s Golf team fell back a few spots on Saturday, shooting 6-over on the day and sitting in 11th (4-over) through two rounds at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational in Alpharetta.
Sophomore John Pak moved up to a tie for 21st after shooting 2-under on Saturday. He is currently 1-under and the only Seminole under par. Pak mustered four birdies in the second round, shooting a front-nine 34 to get his day going.
Junior Jamie Li is tied for 28th at even-par, but fell back due to a 5-over 77 fired in the second round. The Bath, England, native totaled four birdies in the round.
Freshman Calvin Sierota had a productive day by shooting an even-par 72 on a tough course. He is tied for 47th at 3-over, aided by two front-nine birdies.
Senior Bennett Baker is tied for 40th at 2-over, while freshman Alberto Martinez is tied for 68th at 9-over.
FSU continues play on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
