In its second installment, Florida State Profiles, a new series from Sunshine Network, which has covered Coach Bowden’s career for more than a decade, tells of his personal journey. The story of Bobby Bowden, one of Florida’s most treasured icons and revered sports figures, will be told by former FSU defensive back and Sunshine Network FSU analyst Keith Jones.
With a combination of rare footage, revealing words from the man himself, and a unique perspective from those often in the background, this one-hour program will provide insight into who Bobby Bowden really is and the experiences that have shaped his life over the past 70 years.
Florida Sports Profiles: Bobby Bowden premiers Friday, August 4, at 7 p.m. and offers viewers an intelligent and introspective portrait of the Florida State Seminoles legendary head coach. Encore presentations of the one-hour program are scheduled for August 5, at 4 p.m., August 8, at 11:30 p.m., August 20, at 7 p.m. and 1 a.m., August 16, at 2 p.m., August 17, at 7:30 p.m., August 24, at 11 p.m., and August 26, at 3 p.m.
