After she finished her career at Florida State, Jane Geddes had left an indelible mark on the Lady Seminole golf program.

As a sophomore, Geddes helped FSU to a school record five tournament titles, including the program's first national title in '81. It was at the national championships that Geddes birdied number 17 to cement the title for the Lady Seminoles.

After working for several years to make a niche for herself on the LPGA Tour, Geddes won her first event in 1986 at the Tour's biggest event of the year - The US Open. To prove the victory was no fluke, Geddes returned the following year to win five tournament championships and finish in third place on the LPGA money list.
