Florida State Athletics Participates In Relay For Life

Florida State University held its annual Relay For Life to raise money for Cancer research. Several groups and organizations participated including Florida State Athletics. Over eighty student-athletes took part in the relay and helped raise over $2,400. The relay was scheduled to begin at 5:00pm; however, due to heavy rain it did not being until 10:30pm. The relay ended early Saturday morning with several student-athletes walking from late night to early morning. Congratulations to the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams for having the most participants. It was a great event that raised a total of $117,000. Thanks to all those who contributed to this special event.
