“I would like to thank President Barron for appointing me interim Director of Athletics. I appreciate the opportunity to lead an organization where I have spent so much of my life and career as a student-athlete, administrator and in my most recent position, where I will serve during this interim period, as the University searches for a new director of athletics. I would also like to thank Randy Spetman for his vision and leadership during the past five years. I have been inspired by his passion for Florida State athletics, our coaches and especially our student-athletes.”
