Hall of Fame Class: 1993 (Football)

Bobby Jackson was one of Florida State’s finest cornerbacks setting the career interception record at the time with 10 from 1974-77. He also was one of the finest punter returns in FSU history. Jackson worked his way into the starting lineup as a true freshman and never gave it up until the New York Jets selected him in 1978 where he played eight seasons. Jackson picked off two passes and had a punt return for a touchdown as a freshman. He led the Seminoles in punt returns for a second straight season as sophomore and also snagged a team-high five interceptions. His senior year he helped FSU end a nine-year string of losses to Florida. His 80-yard punt return for a touchdown in 1974 was one of the three longest in school history.
