Hall of Fame Class: 1985 (Moore-Stone Award)
George Langford is an attorney, businessman and civic leader who served two terms as president of the Seminole Boosters. His projects have run from major stadium improvements to books on Seminole football. George Langford has generously devoted his drive, organizational ability and great enthusiasm to the improvement of Florida State athletics. The green leading from the south end of Doak Campbell Stadium to the band shell was named Langford Green in his honor in the late 1990s.
