Hall of Fame Class: 1990 (Men's Golf)
A few months after Kenny Knox started playing golf at age nine, he knew it was the game for him. “I never thought about anything else,” he says. A two-time All-American at Florida State, Knox won the 1977 Southeastern Amateur Championship his junior year at FSU. His dedication to the game led him all the way to becoming a winner on the PGA Tour. Knox went from winning Tallahassee’s Jim Lee Open the summer after his freshman year at Florida State to big time wins on the PGA Tour like the 1986 Honda Classic and the 1987 Hardee’s Golf Classic. In 1989 he brought in five top-ten PGA finishes.
