Satellite Beach, Fla. native Lisa Davidson signed with FSU in 1991 and made an immediate impact for the Seminoles, leading the team in hitting as a freshman. She became an offensive and defensive star and was the ACC Tournament MVP as a junior in 1993. She capped her Seminole career, which included three World Series appearances and four consecutive ACC championships, by becoming just the second All-American in the history of FSU softball in 1994.

After graduating with a degree in early childhood development, Davidson went on to coach at Mt. Olive College and play semi-pro softball. She added a master’s degree in 1998 and was named to the prestigious ACC 50th Anniversary team, signifying her place as one of the conference’s Top 50 players.
