TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Senior guard Nausia Woolfolk has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week, announced on Monday by the ACC.

Woolfolk recorded back-to-back 20-point games for the second time in her career, scoring 22 points in a win over Jacksonville and 23 points against Samford. In each game, the Fort Valley, Ga., native went 9-of-14 from the field.

Her performance in an 88-59 win over Samford included her second career double-double, but her first by way of points and rebounds. In addition to her 23 points against the Bulldogs, she added a career-high 12 rebounds.

In Florida State’s two victories last week, Woolfolk led the Seminoles in points, steals (6), rebounds (14), field goals made (18) and 3-pointers made (5). She went 5-of-6 from beyond the arc.

The honor is Woolfolk’s first ACC Player of the Week award in her career. She leads Florida State in scoring this season with 16.8 points per game.
