Tallahassee, Fla. – Current and former members of the Florida State swimming teams will be represented at the 2019 Toyota U.S. Open in Atlanta, from Dec. 4-7 at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
“We’re looking forward to seeing our athletes attack a long course meet,” FSU head coach Neal Studd said. “We have focused a lot on long course for our Olympic preparation, so it’s great to get a meet of this caliber in early.”
The 50m long-course meet will start for the Seminoles that qualified on Thursday with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals following at 7 pm.
Among the eight Americans, sophomore Jackson Seith (100 breast), freshman Nick Vance (200 back) and Natalie Purnell (200 breast) have already qualified for the 2020 US Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska.
All sessions will be broadcast via the USA Swimming website.
