TALLAHASSEE – Florida State junior guard Ta'Niya Latson was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week on Monday by the Blue Ribbon Panel.

This is the first ACC weekly honor for Latson this season and 15th overall between Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week.

Latson was also named the World Exposure Report Player of the Week for NCAA Division I.  She joins Destiny Adams (Rutgers), Harmoni Turner (Harvard) and Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame) as players recognized by WER this season.

Latson was named MVP of the Paradise Jam, amassing 75 points while leading the Noles over Texas Tech, Missouri State and Gonzaga.

The Miami, native, began the tournament with her second career double-double in a different way than her first. Latson scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while her first double-double, she contributed 34 points and 11 assists against NC Central.

After scoring 21 points against Missouri State, Latson added a triple-double against Gonzaga, scoring 24 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and tying her career high of 10 assists. She is one of four Seminoles in program history and first since 2019 to accomplish the feat.

Latson is one of nine players to perform a triple-double this season.  She leads the nation in scoring at 26.1 points per game.
