FSU Divers Ready for NCAA Zone B Championships

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State divers will head to the NCAA Zone B Championships at the Jack Baurele Pool at the Gabrielsen Natatorium, March 10-13.
"This is it for us," FSU head diving coach John Proctor said. "This is our only shot at making NCAA's. We had some great performances at ACC's, but the ultimate goal is to get to nationals. They're ready and we're excited to get going this week."
Jessica Buntman, Victoria Cervantes, Kayleigh Clark, Izzy Gregersen, Vivian Johnson and Samantha Vear will look to qualify for the Women's NCAA Championships that run March 20-23 at the University of Georgia. The top 10 finishers from 1-meter, top eight on 3-meter and top seven on platform will advance to nationals.
Jesco Helling, Darwin Nolasco, and David Vargas will look to punch their tickets to the men's meet, which run from March 27-30 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
The top seven on both 1-meter and 3-meter and the top 10 on platform will move on to nationals.
The top 18 in each individual event will compete in finals with prelim scores carrying over. Prelims Sunday will start at 2 p.m.
