Three Noles Claim FSU Top 10 Performances

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No.16/NR Florida State outdoor track and field teams competed in the distance events at the Wake Forest Invitational on Friday, where Agnes McTighe, Martin Prodanov and Zach Cloud produced performances on the FSU all-time top 10 list. 

  

McTighe claimed the seventh-fastest time in program history in the women's 1,500-meter, clocking a time of 4:13.01. 

  

Prodanov established a career best in the men's 1,500, turning in the fifth-fastest time in FSU history at 3:41.58, moving up three spots. 

  

Ava Povich competed in the women's 5,000m with a time of 17:01.89. Rebecca Bergnes followed with a time of 17:31.18. Bieke Schipperen rounded out the event at 16:50.99. 

David Mullarkey opened his season in the men's 5,000, placing eighth with a postseason time of 13:41.91. Cloud followed in 16th with the 10th fastest time in school history at 13:52.29. Kidus Misgina placed 35th with a time of 14:07.02. Patrick Donnelly concluded the event with a time of 14:36.64. 

  

Anna Senter ended the night, placing eighth in the 10,000 with a time of 35:15.00. 

  

"Overall, we had a strong night with Agnes, Martin and Daivd and Zach Cloud earning regional marks, "said FSU track and field head coach Bob Braman. "We're set up well for the ACC Championship after tonight." 

  

Adina Jackson competed in the long jump at the Tiger Track Classic hosted by Auburn, placing 12th with a mark of 5.38m. Kayla Pickard placed fifth in the triple jump at 11.91m.
