Noles Boast Program Record on All-ACC Academic Team

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State indoor track and field teams placed a program record of 20 athletes on the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team, the league office announced on Tuesday.
David Mullarkey who was selected as the 2023 ACC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year, was one of the 10 men selected, setting a program record. Mullarky competed at the NCAA Indoor Championship placing 11th in the 3,000-meters.
Shenese Walker led the 10 women, earning first-team All-America honors in the 60 for the first time in her career with a lifetime best at (7.19). Her performance tied for the fifth-fastest time in school history.
To be eligible for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have a 3.00 cumulative GPA or greater and must have participated in either the ACC Championship and or the NCAA Championship.
