TALLAHASSEE – Florida State's Jamie Connel, Loris Pourroy, and Youcef Rihane were named to the 2024 All-ACC Men's Tennis Academic Team on Tuesday.

Pourroy earned his third All-ACC Academic Team selection, marking three straight seasons of earning the honor. He graduated this spring with his master's degree in sport management and shortly after his ceremony, he won his singles match in straight-sets 6-3, 6-0 in the NCAA Tournament Second Round against UCF.

Pourroy made the Academic Dean's List in 2021 and 2023 and was named an ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2022. On the court, Pourroy finished his collegiate career with over 130 victories across singles and doubles competition and earned All-ACC honors in 2021 and 2022.

Connel earned his second straight All-ACC Academic Team selection after accumulating 31 victories in the past calendar year. Connel was named to the Academic President's List at Furman in 2022 before transferring to Florida State and being named to the Academic Dean's Honor List in 2023 and named an ITA Scholar-Athlete the same year while majoring in Psychology. Connel moved from Court 4 to Court 3 midway through the season and finished the year with seven ranked wins.

Rihane earned his first selection to the All-ACC Academic Team in his junior season, majoring in Information Communication/Technology. Rihane has earned 100 victories through singles and doubles the past three seasons and will represent Algeria in the Davis Cup later this month.
