Bejedi Signs with KSC Szekszárd

TALLAHASSEE –  Florida State women's basketball alumna Sara Bejedi signed her first professional contract with Atomeromu KSC Szekszárd in Szekszárd in Hungary on July 20.
 
During her five-year collegiate career, Bejedi scored 1,087 points. As a four-year Seminole, the Helsinki, Finland native, played in 101 games, starting 70, and led FSU to the NCAA postseason in all four seasons.  
 
Bejedi set her career high with 31 points in the 89-81 victory over No. 11 Virginia Tech in 2024. She also set a career high of nine field goals made and tied her best rebounds at eight.
 
Bejedi graduated in May of 2024 with a degree in criminology and was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2023-24.
 
Prior to FSU, Bejedi was a member of the Finnish Senior National Team between 2017 and 2018 and was a part of the U22 national team in 2023.

Bejedi represented Finland at the World University Games in Chengdu, China, in 2023 where she was the best scorer at the tournament with almost 18 points per game, leading Finland to the bronze medal.
 
KSC Szekszárd begins the 2024-25 season on Sept. 18., in the Euroleague.
