Korbmacher Set for U20 World Athletic Championship

TALLAHASSEE – Rising Sophomore Andre Korbmacher will represent Team USA at the 2024 U20 World Athletic Championships from August 29-30 at the Estadio Atletico de la Videan in Lima, Peru. 

Korbmacher qualified by finishing second in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.31 at the USATF Championship in Eugene, Oregon in June. He will race in prelims at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday.

As a freshman at Florida State, Korbmacher established the sixth-fastest time in program history in the 60-meter hurldes at 7.67 at the New Balance Indoor Grand prix. 

 
During the outdoor season, Korbmacher ran a time of 13.56 in the 110 hurdles at the FSU Relays, adding the sixth-fastest time in program history before making an appearance at the NCAA East Regional Preliminaries. Korbmacher placed 16th with a time of 13.75 to conclude his season.
