Noles Announce Home-and-Home with Illinois

TALLAHASSEE – The 2024-24 Florida State women's basketball team announced a home-and-home series against Illinois, starting in 2024.
The Seminoles will travel to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois for a contest on Nov. 7 at the State Farm Center. The Illini will visit Tallahassee in 2025.
The teams have met twice in program history, most recently on Dec. 2, 2021, on the road with the Seminoles coming away with a 78-66 victory. The Noles also won the first meeting on Dec. 7, 1990, 67-58, that took place at the Cavalier Classic in Charlottesville, Virgina.
Illinois posted a 19-15 record in 2023-24 and closed out the season winning the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament after a 71-57 win over Villanova.
FSU has finalized its 12-player roster for the 2024-25 season, which includes the return of high-scoring trio Ta'Niya Latson, Makayla Timpson and O'Mariah Gordon. The Seminoles are slated to bring back 75 percent of their scoring production from a year ago as well as 82 percent of their rebounds.
The Seminoles will host Tampa in an exhibition on Oct. 23.
