Latson Wins ACC Player of the Week

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State junior guard Ta'Niya Latson was named the ACC Player of the Week on Monday by the league's Blue Ribbon Panel for her performances in the wins over Clemson and Miami.
Latson contributed her fourth double-double of the season against the Tigers on Thursday, scoring 20 points and 10 assists. She finished with 30 points.
On Sunday, Florida State made 18 three-point shots, setting a new program record for threes made in a single game, led by Latson, who contributed a career-high five.
Latson became the fourth Seminole in history to go 5-of-5 from three in a single game.
The Miami native earned her fourth ACC Player of the Week honor of the season, and 18th weekly recognition of her career.
Florida State will hit the road to face No. 14/14 North Carolina on Sunday, January 26, at 12:00 p.m. on ACC Network.
