Noles Travel to Louisville for Lenny Lyles Invite

TALLAHASSEE– The Florida State indoor track and field teams will compete at the Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky on January 31 and February 1. The first event for the Noles will begin on Friday with the men's long jump. Live results will be available. 

LAST TIME OUT: 

Between both squads, the Seminoles took home five top ten finishes, including six event victories in Gainesville, Florida. 

Bieke Schipperen broke the facility record in the women's one mile run at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, which marks the fourth-fastest time in FSU history at 4:35.15.  

British Wilkerson led the men's sprints in the 300-meter, claiming the 17th-fastest time in collegiate history at 32.66.  

Zach Leachman claimed the victory in the men's 3,000 with a lifetime performance of 8:06.17. 

Kaelyaah Liburd won the women's 400 with a lifetime best and 10th-fastest time in FSU history at 53.90.  

Jaden Franics took home the win in the women's 800 with a time of 2:10.44. 

Zach Trotter took home the win in the men's 800 with a lifetime best of 1:50.60, clocking the eighth-fastest time in FSU history. Anthony Herrera followed in second with a career best 1:50.70., tying the ninth-fastest time in school history.  

The women's 4x400 relay finished second as Liburd, Alyia Green, Jaden Franics and Tyra Wilson clocked 3:36.79 to record the sixth-fastest time in FSU history. 

Suus Altorf won the 3,000, clocking the 10th-fastest time in FSU history in the event with at time of 9:14.31.
