Game Time Announced For Seminole Men’s Basketball Game At Houston

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State will travel to play Houston on December 6, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. (ET) at the Toyota Center in Houston, Tex. in an early season non-conference match-up. The television designation for the Seminoles' game against Houston will be announced at a later date.

Florida State's game against the Cougars will be one of three games the Seminoles will play during the 2025-26 season in an arena currently utilized by a professional team. The Seminoles' game against Houston will be played at the Toyota Center (home of the Houston Rockets), their game against Texas A&M (Nov. 28) will be played at the Benchmark International Arena (home of the Tampa Bay Lightning), and their game against UMass in the Orange Bowl Classic will be played at the Amerant Bank Arena (home of the Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers).
The game between the Seminoles and the Cougars marks the sixth meeting between the two teams – and first since January 5, 1974.
Florida State begins its two-game exhibition season against Alabama in Birmingham, Ala., (Oct. 16) at the Boutwell Auditorium. The Seminoles also play an exhibition game against Florida A&M at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee (Oct. 26).
The Seminoles open their regular season at home in the Tucker Center against Alcorn State on November 4 and play 17 home games (nine ACC games) at their home arena. Florida State's home ACC schedule begins as Florida State plays host to Duke on January 3, 2026.
Season tickets for all 17 Florida State home games, starting at $150 per seat, are available now and can be purchased HERE. Single-game ticket sale dates will be available in October.
