TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State swimming and diving redshirt senior Kayleigh Clark and sophomore Michel Arkhangelsky were awarded ACC Performer of the Week honors on Tuesday, the league announced.

The recognition comes after standout performances for No. 18/RV FSU against NR/No.17 South Carolina at the Morcom Aquatics Center on October 31. Both earned the honor for the second time this season and in their careers.

"I am really excited for Kayleigh and Michel," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "Both are world-class athletes, and I can't wait to see what they will continue to achieve this year."

Arkhangelsky and Clark are Florida State's fourth and fifth ACC Performer of the Week honorees this season, marking the team's most awards in the fall half of the season since six were earned in 2022. They also are the first Seminoles to receive multiple honors in the same season since men's swimmer Peter Varjasi and women's diver Samantha Vear accomplished the feat in 2022-23.

Clark previously was recognized on October 21, while Arkhangelsky and sophomore Maryn McDade were honored on September 30.

Named the ACC Men's Swimmer of the Week, Arkhangelsky recorded three individual victories and a relay win against SC in the 50 freestyle (19.82), 100 freestyle (42.97) and 100 butterfly (46.34). Alongside his relay teammates, they posted a 200 medley relay time of 1:24.81, which ranks 10th all-time in program history.

The sophomore from Nice, France, first received the ACC honor following Florida State's season-opening FSU Invite, where he won seven events from September 26-27.

Clark earned ACC Women's Diver of the Week after a strong showing against the No. 17 Gamecocks. The Marietta, Georgia, native took first on 1-meter (281.93) and second on 3-meter (312.75). Both scores are NCAA zone qualifying marks and add to her dominant start to her senior campaign.

Clark's first ACC recognition came after the Dual Meet Tournament in Atlanta from October 17-18, where she won four of six events with two runner-up finishes.

Up next, Arkhangelsky, Clark and the Seminoles will head to Baton Rouge, Louisianna, to compete against No. 14/21 LSU and No. 16/16 Alabama on November 7 at 12 p.m. ET at the LSU Natatorium.
