No. 23 Noles Selected for 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament

TALLAHASSEE- The No. 23/24 Florida State women's basketball team (23-8, 13-5 ACC) was selected for its 12th-straight NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament on Sunday.
The Seminoles earned the sixth seed in the Spokane 1 Regional, and will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to face 11th-seeded George Mason (27-5) in the opening round on Saturday. The winner of the game will face either No. 3 LSU (28-5) or No. 14 San Diego State (25-9) on Monday in the second round. The regional semifinal will take place on March 28 at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena and the regional final will be held on March 30. The Final Four is scheduled for April 4 and 6 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.
Florida State has the seventh-longest active NCAA appearance streak and was one of eight teams selected out of the ACC.
The Seminoles have never faced the Patriots in program history.
