Williams Qualifies for NCAA Outdoor National Championship

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The No.19/ NR track and field teams opened the 2025 NCAA East Regional Preliminary Championships with Curtis Williams earning a bid to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the men's long jump on Wednesday.
With competition delayed for five hours due to the weather, Williams placed within the top 12 to earn a spot in Eugene, Oregon, from June 11-14 at Hayward Field. The Tallahassee native placed 10th with a mark of 7.59m (24-9).
In addition to Williams qualifying for nationals, four more Noles advanced to the quarterfinal rounds that will take place on Friday.
Tyson Williams and Andre Korbmacher moved on in the 110-meter hurdles. Williams led the first round with a time of 13.78 for seventh and Korbmacher claimed the 12th qualifying spot at 13.83.
Neo Mosebi opened in the 100, crossing the line with the 12th fastest qualifying time at 10.35. Micahi Danzy advanced to Friday's 400 quarterfinal placing 15th with a time of 45.97.
