TALLAHASSEE – Michael Fly, who is in his first season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Florida State, will participate in the prestigious 2025 TopConnect Basketball Symposium on June 9 in Lake Buena Vista.

TopConnect was developed by East Tennessee State University Athletics Director Dr. Richard Sander. The program identifies the top assistant basketball coaches in the country and connects them with national Athletic Directors providing tremendous networking and leadership development opportunities for both parties.

"I appreciate Doc Sander giving me the opportunity to represent the Seminoles at To Connect," said Fly. "I am looking forward to continuing my development as a coach and leader during the seminar."

Now in its eighth year, TopConnect develops educational programming that allows the chosen assistant coaches to hear from a variety of successful leaders and speakers.

The panel discussions include the college coaching hiring process which includes a perspective of first-time head coaches as well as NIL from multiple perspectives and the recent House Settlement and how both will affect the present, and the future, of college athletics.
