FSU Men’s Tennis Releases 2025 Fall Schedule

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State men's tennis team announced the fall schedule for the 2025-26 campaign on Monday.
The Seminoles will officially begin the season at the ITA All-American Championships, which takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from September 20-28.
Florida State will host the annual Bedford Cup on September 26-28, before heading to Gainesville for Regionals on October 9-13. The Regional tournament will offer another pathway to the NCAA Individual Championships and will feature top competition from across the region.
The Seminoles continue competition on October 24-26 at the Crimson Tide Fall Challenge in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Florida State will participate in the Battle of the Beaches in Destin on November 6-9. During that same weekend, FSU will also send part of its team to compete at the ITA South Sectional Championships in Athens, Georgia.
The Indoor Tennis Courts will also host the annual ITF Tallahassee Futures competition from November 17-23. The ITA events will allow 64 singles and 32 doubles teams to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships in Orlando on November 18-23.
The fall season will conclude on December 1-7 as the team will compete at home for the PTT tournament at the Indoor facility.
FSU returns six players from last season. The incoming transfer class includes Amman, Jordan native Mohammad Alkotop, Brazilian junior Luis Felipe Miguel, and graduate student Gabriele Brancatelli. Oren Ezezer will also begin his collegiate career.
Florida State was represented in numerous spots in the ITA Fall Preseason Rankings. Corey Craig, who was named the 2025 ITA National Most Improved Player, earned No. 8 in singles. The Seminoles received three top-100 doubles rankings with Luis Felipe Miguel and Erik Schiessel at No. 43. Mohammed Alktop and Jan Sebesta checked in at No. 63, while Gabriele Brancatelli and Craig will begin their fall season ranked No. 82, respectively.
