SAUCIER, Miss. - The Florida State men's golf team closed out the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational strong, turning in its best round of the tournament at 1-under, 287 on Monday at the Fallen Oak Golf Club.

Among the 15 teams in the field, FSU was one of four teams to finish the round under par. The Seminoles finished the tournament in eighth place at 17-over, 881, finishing ahead of No. 4 Alabama and No. 21 Ohio State.

The highlight of the day came from Shawn Coultoff, who carded his first hole-in-one of his collegiate career. Weaver turned in the top score of the day for the Noles, carding 2-under, 70. Weaver saw five birdies in the round, including three on his final nine holes. Weaver finished the tournament 5-over, 221 and tied for 25th.

Jack Whaley secured his first top 10 finish of the season and fifth of his career, finishing in sixth place at 1-under, 215. He turned in a round of 1-over, 73, despite carding three birdies in the round.
