Loucks, Robinson II and Rancik to Represent Seminoles at 2026 ACC Tipoff

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State head coach Luke Loucks, senior guard Anthony Robinson II and junior forward Sebastian Rancik will represent the Seminoles at the 2026 ACC Tipoff on Oct. 7 at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina.

ACC Network, the 24/7 national network dedicated to the conference, will be live from ACC Tipoff for expansive coverage, with Florida State's media sessions beginning at 8 a.m. The Seminoles will appear in their morning rotation with Duke, North Carolina, NC State, Notre Dame, and Virginia.

The 2026 ACC Tipoff marks the second appearance at the event for Loucks, who enters his second season as Florida State's head coach. The 2011 FSU graduate guided the Seminoles to an 18-15 record and a 10-8 mark in ACC play during his first season, setting a program record for conference wins by a first-year Florida State head coach. The Seminoles won 10 of their final 12 games, including a program-record five consecutive ACC road victories.

Robinson II will make his first appearance at ACC Tipoff after transferring to Florida State from Missouri, where he played three seasons and appeared in 96 games with 50 starts. The Tallahassee native was named to the 2025 SEC All-Defensive Team and averaged 8.9 points per game during the 2025-26 season while recording a team-high 54 steals, which ranked eighth in the SEC.

Robinson II returns to his hometown and will play alongside his brother, Amare.

Rancik also will make his first ACC Tipoff appearance after transferring to Florida State from Colorado. The Slovakia native spent two seasons with the Buffaloes, appearing in 62 games with 37 starts. He averaged 12.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 season, ranking third on the team in scoring and second in rebounding.

Florida State opens its 2026-27 season Nov. 2 against Florida A&M at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida.
