TALLAHASSEE – For the second consecutive year, Florida State's Jim Moran and Michael Fly were named to the Silver Waves Media list of the 100 Most Impactful/Influential High Major Assistant Coaches in the country.

Moran, associate head coach, and Fly, assistant coach and general manager, enter their second season with the Seminoles on head coach Luke Loucks' staff.

In their first season in Tallahassee, the coaching duo helped Florida State to an 18-15 record and a 10-8 mark in ACC play. The Seminoles gained momentum throughout the season, winning 10 of their final 12 contests, highlighted by a school-record five consecutive ACC road victories.

Moran and Fly also played an important role in the development of two of Florida State's top performers last season. Robert McCray V earned All-ACC Third Team honors while Lajae Jones was selected by the Golden State Warriors with the 54th overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft.

Moran brought more than a decade of NBA and developmental league coaching experience to the Seminoles' bench, while Fly has spent his coaching career primarily in the state of Florida with stops at Jacksonville and Florida Gulf Coast.

More than 50 coaches featured on the Silver Waves Media list have gone on to become head coaches since the list was introduced seven years ago.
