ATLANTA – The No.13/NR Florida State swimming and diving team had five finalists and several program top-10 finishes on day four of the 2026 ACC Swimming and Diving Championships at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta.

Wednesday's events included the 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay.

"We had some strong efforts today and a few things we can build on," FSU head coach Neal Studd said. "That's part of championship racing. We're looking forward to carrying that into tomorrow's session."

The men's squad of sophomore Michel Arkhangelsky, seniors Sam Bork and Max Wilson and sophomore Logan Robinson posted the second-fastest time in program history in the 200 freestyle relay, touching the wall in 1:15.65. The Seminoles finished sixth in the conference, and the time was NCAA qualifying.

On the women's side, sophomore Maryn McDade, senior Sarah Evans, freshman Ioana Stirbu and sophomore Mary Leigh Hardman recorded the fourth-fastest time in program history in the 200 freestyle relay, finishing in 1:28.77 and placing 11th overall.

Competing in the 200 individual medley at the collegiate level for the first time, freshman Lucy Porter earned a spot in the C final after swimming a personal-best 1:59.35 in prelims. Porter improved again in finals, touching the wall in 1:58.59 to finish 22nd overall. Her finals swim marked another personal best and moved her to sixth all-time in program history in the event.

Sophomore Mathias Christensen touched the wall first in the 200 IM C final and placed 17th overall with an NCAA-qualifying time of 1:44.04, improving from his prelim mark of 1:44.49.

Three Seminoles advanced to the 50 freestyle C final. In the women's event, McDade went on to finish 20th overall after posting a 22.38 in finals.

Bork finished 18th overall after clocking a 19.29 in finals, improving from his 19.31 prelim swim.

Through Wednesday's final event, with four days completed and three to go, the men's team is in sixth place with 266 points and the women are in ninth with 207 points.

Florida State will return to action Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET for prelims in the 400 IM, 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle, with finals scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
