CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Florida State, which has won a season-high four consecutive games, plays No. 1 Duke in the quarterfinals of the 2026 ACC Tournament at the Spectrum Center on Thursday, March 12, at 7:00. The Seminoles defeated Cal, 95-89 behind the 30-point scoring performance by All-ACC Third-Team selection Robert McCray V on Wednesday in the second round of the ACC Tournament to advance to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2024.

The Seminoles have won four straight, seven of their last eight, and 11 of their last 14 games since defeating Miami, 63-61, on January 20, in Coral Gables. Florida State has defeated 10 different ACC teams, including Cal twice (January 28 and March 11) during their current streak. The Seminoles play Duke for the second time this season after falling in Tallahassee to the Blue Devils by a 91-87 score in a game they led by as many as seven at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee (January 3, 2026).

The winner of Thursday's game between the Seminoles and the Blue Devils will play the Winner of Thursday's game between North Carolina and Clemson in the semifinals of the ACC Tournament on Friday at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte at 7:00 p.m.

The quarterfinals round game in the ACC Tournament game between the Seminoles and the Blue Devils will be televised beginning at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN with Hall of Famer Dave O'Brien and Virginia All-American Cory Alexander on the call. Molly McGrath handles to sidelines for the ESPN crew.

Robert McCray V scored 30 points on seven made field goals, three made 3-point shots, and five made free throws in Florida State's 95-89 victory over Cal on Wednesday in the second round of the 2026 ACC Tournament. He became just the third Seminole to score 30 or more points in the ACC Tournament and the first since current Washington Wizard Jamir Watkins scored 34 against Virginia Tech in the 2024 ACC Tournament.

With four players in double-figure scoring, Florida State scored a school-record 95 points in the Seminoles' 95-89 win over Cal in Wednesday's first round of the ACC Tournament. The Seminoles' 95 points eclipsed the previous ACC Tournament school record of 93 points scored in their first ever ACC game against NC State in their first ever ACC Tournament game on March 13, 1992.

Florida State has 10 all-time victories over nationally ranked Duke teams including one over No. 6 ranked Duke during the Seminoles' run to the 2012 ACC Tournament championship in Atlanta.
