Florida State Sends Six to Outdoor National Championships

LEXINGTON, Ky.– The Florida State men's outdoor track and field team saw six more student-athletes qualify for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the East Preliminaries on Friday.
Kyvon Tatham, Neo Mosebi, Durian Moss, Zach Extine, Shamar Reid and Andre Korbmacher will represent Florida State on the big stage.
Reid was crowned the east regional champion in the men's discus throw, qualifying for his first NCAA Division I National Championship after being victorious with a mark of 64.22 meters. Redi becomes FSU's first qualifier in the event since Milton Ingraham in 2023.
The pair of Mosebi and Moss qualified in the 100. Moss punched his first ever individual ticket after placing fifth with a new personal best and the ninth-fastest time in program history at 10.03. Mosebi returns to the big stage with the 11th-fastest time at 10.12.
Korbmacher and Extine earned bids to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships after strong performances in the men's 110-meter hurdles. Korbmacher qualified for his first NCAA Outdoor Championship, placing ninth with a time of 13.44 seconds. Extine, who was the NCAA Outdoor Championship runner-up in the event last season, secured his second consecutive national championship berth by finishing 11th with a time of 13.46.
Tatham advanced to the Outdoor National Championship for the third straight year in the men's triple jump. The senior finished in 11th with a mark of 15.83 meters.
Kaden Levings wrapped up his junior season in the men's 3,000 steeplechase, placing 17th with a new personal best and remaining at fourth all-time in FSU history at 8:45.24.
Florida State will have seven individuals including the 4x100-meter relay team in Saturday's women's quarterfinals starting at 5:00 p.m. Expanded coverage will air on ESPN+ and can be accessed at Seminoles.com. Live Results will be available here.
