Florida State Set to Host 2027 ACC Outdoor Championships

TALLAHASSEE– The Florida State track and field teams will open the 2027 outdoor postseason by hosting the ACC Outdoor Championships at the Mike Long Track from May 13-15.
"Hosting ACCs is a great opportunity to showcase Tallahassee and Florida State." said head coach Matt Kane. "The Tallahassee community gets a chance to see some of the top athletes from around the country and a great opportunity to support the track team. The team is excited to compete for a title at home and its definitely earmarked as a pivotal point for the direction of our program."
The Seminoles will welcome all 18 participating ACC programs to Tallahassee for two full days of championship competition. This marks the fifth time Florida State has hosted the outdoor championships, having done so previously in 1992, 2005, 2015 and 2016.
Florida State has won three titles when hosting the conference championships, with the men topping the podium in 2005 and 2015 and the women capturing the 2016 crown.
