Three Noles Capture CSC Academic All-District Honors

TALLAHASSEE –Three members of the Florida state cross country/track and field teams were named to the 2025-2026 CSC Academic All-District team on Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators. The award recognizes top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track and in the classroom. 

On the women's side, Suus Altorf earned All-District honors, while Neo Mosebi and Shamar Reid received the accolade for the men's team. To be considered for the CSC Academic All-District team, athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 and be ranked in the top 50 of their individual events nationally. 

Reid led the Noles after helping the Florida State men to its 15th Indoor conference title in program history. Reid finished fifth in the shotput with the ninth-furthest throw in program history at 18.27 meters. During the outdoor season, Reid captured his first ACC Individual title in the discus throw with a new program record and personal best of 65.87 meters before being crowned the NCAA East Regional Champion. The Jamaican native concluded his season with a sixth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor National Championship and first-team All-America honors.
 
Mosebi collected his second consecutive academic recognition after contributing to Florida State's team title at the ACC Indoor Championships. He finished second in the 60 meters with a time of 6.61. The South Africa native went on to repeat as conference champion in the outdoor 100 meters, clocking 9.98 and tying the seventh-fastest time in program history. Mosebi qualified for the NCAA East First Round and closed his season at the national championship, where he earned second-team All-American honors in the 100.
 
Altorf concluded her collegiate career with her third appearance on the academic list. Altorf was recently named an all-region performer at the NCAA Cross Country South Regional Championships. The Netherland native etched her name in the FSU all-time top 10 list six different times combined from the indoor and outdoor season.
