Women's Tennis Earns Five All-ACC Academic Team Selections

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State women's tennis team placed five student-athletes on the 2025-26 All-ACC Academic Team, the ACC announced Friday afternoon. Sophomore Mary Boyce Deatherage, juniors Laura Putz and Eva Shaw, and seniors Tina Li and Kristyna Lavickova earned the recognition.

To be eligible for the All-ACC Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one full academic year at their institution, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, earn a 3.00 GPA or better over their most recent two semesters (or three quarters), and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

Deatherage earned All-ACC Academic Team honors for the second consecutive season. Deatherage finished second on the team in singles victories while adding 15 doubles wins.

Lavickova collected her second career All-ACC Academic Team honor after also earning CSC Academic All-District recognition earlier this year. The senior finished her collegiate career with 51 combined victories.

Li earned her second All-ACC Academic Team selection in as many seasons at Florida State. Across her four-year collegiate career, she totaled 61 singles wins and 59 doubles victories for 120 career wins.

Putz received her third consecutive All-ACC Academic Team honor and was also named CSC Academic All-District earlier this year. 

Shaw earned her second career All-ACC Academic Team recognition. She led the Seminoles with 13 singles victories this season. She also finished the year ranked No. 103 in the final ITA singles rankings.
