Cross Country Releases 2026 Slate

TALLAHASSEE – The Florida State cross country programs released their schedules for the upcoming 2026 season on Tuesday.
The slate includes two regular season home meets before the postseason competition begins at the ACC Championships in late October.
Florida State starts its campaign on September 18, hosting the pre-regional meet at Apalachee Regional Park.
The Seminoles will then get an opportunity to travel on September 25 as they head to Columbia, Missouri, for the Gans Creek Classic before returning home on October 9 for the FSU XC Invite.
FSU closes out the regular season with a trip to Terre Haute, Indiana, to run at the Indiana State Pre-Nationals on Friday, October 16. This meet will give the runners a chance to get a feel for the course as Indiana State will host the 2026 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 21.
The 2026 ACC Cross Country Championships will be held in Blacksburg, Virginia, at Virginia Tech's Buford Meredith Cross Country Course on Friday, October 30. The field will be comprised of six teams that competed at last season's NCAA Championships and three that finished inside the top 10.
The Seminoles path to the NCAA Championship will run through Tallahassee at Apalachee Regional Park as the 2026 NCAA South Regional Championship is slated for Friday, November 13. FSU women's team finished sixth, while the men finished 10th at regionals last year, as returners Bieke Schipperen, Rylee Blade and Isaac Hirshman Chandler earned All-Region honors.
