Kromah, Wisner Named to Doak Walker Watch List

TALLAHASSEE – Florida State running backs Ousmane Kromah and Quintrevion Wisner were named to the Doak Walker Award Watch List Tuesday. The award is given to the nation's most outstanding college running back by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum.
Kromah, a sophomore from Leesburg, Georgia, played 12 games with two starts as a freshman in 2025, rushing for 408 yards and adding 147 receiving yards. He averaged 5.7 yards per rush and caught a 43-yard touchdown for his first career score.
Kromah set career-highs at Virginia, rushing 12 times for 63 yards. He began his career with 31 yards in FSU's win over No. 8 Alabama and added 43 yards against Kent State, when FSU set a school record with 498 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns. A consensus four-star recruit out of Lee County, Kromah was rated No. 92 nationally in the On3 Industry Rankings.
Wisner, a senior transfer from Texas, started 21 games in 38 appearances for the Longhorns from 2023-25. He ran 369 times for 1,734 yards with nine touchdowns and added 66 receptions for 457 yards and two touchdowns. As a junior in 2025, Wisner recorded 131 carries for 597 yards and three touchdowns, including a season-high 155 yards in Texas' win over No. 3 Texas A&M.
In 2024, Wisner earned third-team All-SEC honors after rushing for 1,064 yards and five touchdowns and setting a Texas running back record with 44 receptions. He set a career-high with 186 yards at No. 20 Texas A&M and added 100-yard games against Kentucky, Oklahoma and Clemson as Texas reached the College Football Playoffs.
Florida State is one of seven schools nationally and one of two in the ACC with multiple players on the Doak Walker Award Watch List.
The winner will be announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN on December 10.
The Seminoles will open the 2026 season August 29 at 7:00 p.m. against New Mexico State inside Doak Campbell Stadium.
